Goodbye 2018 from Jaipur – Retracing the same paths

23rd December 2017 - The year was about to finish and everyone was going on trip to celebrate. I had no plans. And then I decided that the Jaipur was the best place to wave good bye to year 2017. So I packed my bags and left New Delhi. I stayed there for over a week. During my Jaipur visit, I covered some of the major attractions of Jaipur, the pink city. However, it was my first time and I had nothing on the schedule. I didn’t chalk out anything. I didn’t make any list and no map. All I had in my mind was to roam freely like a nomad. I never thought that I would come back again to celebrate my Jaipur anniversary at Amer Fort the next year too. My idea of wishing goodbye 2018 from Jaipur was on the track. Since I love solo traveling, so I usually find myself on the roads alone. 22nd Dec...

Rani Sisodia Garden Jaipur – The Royal Garden of Jaipur

Jaipur is a place where every nook and corner is adorned with architecturally and aesthetically beautiful ancient monuments and buildings. This was my second visit to Jaipur. The first proper visit which I made to Jaipur was back in December 2017 and then I visited few places. This time, I listed few more famous places of Jaipur and chalked out the plan to visit them. Though I left my home to visit Mandawa which that much far from my hometown, but when I reached the bus stand of my hometown, I boarded a bus direct to Jaipur. I knew there were few places (Rani Sisodia Garden Jaipur, Galta Ji Temple Jaipur etc.) which I had left out in my previous visit. The first day was very confused and had no idea what to do in Jaipur. So the first thing I did was to go and visit Patrika Gate. However, t...

Galtaji Temple Jaipur – A trek to the Abode of the Monkeys

Recently I made another unplanned trip to Jaipur. I left home for Delhi but at bus stand of my hometown, I boarded in the bus to Jaipur and reached there with nothing much in mind. I love solo traveling and it gives me liberty to make ways whenever I feel like visiting any place, just pack bags and leave, oh yes money is important factor as well. So, after reaching the pink city, I checked the places which I couldn’t visit in my last journey to Jaipur. And on the top was the famous Galtaji Temple Jaipur, also known as the monkey temple. I have watched a lot of documentaries on this temple on National Geographic Channel back in childhood. I still remember they used to refer Galta gang. And the monkeys here are very friendly. So, I stayed at my relative’s place and chalked out a random place...

Selfies at Amer Fort – A Photo Walk

I visited almost all the major places/attractions in Amer Fort. It took me around three hours to roam inside the fort. Amer fort is big. Amer fort is massive and it is a majestic monument with great historic significance. The fort is located some 11KM away from the main city of Jaipur. It’s good to reach here by time if you are planning to visit both Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort (which is advisable to do so as both the forts are connected with each other). I took 100+ shots with my camera. Plus, I took several shots of selfies at Amer Fort Jaipur.  Selfies at Amer Fort I visited Amer Fort to click photos and make a travel vlog. I had one Nikon A900 compact camera which I bought recently, a newly bought Moto G5S Plus and one Sony point and shoot camera as a backup camera. Though I didn’t ha...

A Photo Tour – City Palace Jaipur, Rajasthan – Timing, Entry Fee, Main Attractions

After visiting Albert Hall Museum and Hawa Mahal, I headed my way to City Palace. City Palace was highly recommended and I planned the entire day for city palace. Jaipur is famous for its ancient royal heritage and history. City Palace is one such place where you will get a feel of that time when there were kings and you will come close to the lifestyle of Kachwaha Rajput kings. City Palace Jaipur is now a museum which houses many things related to the life of the kings from their personal lives to artillery and a lot other things. City Palace is pretty big and several compartments of the palace are divided into many museums. In some museum, you will find the personal life objects of the king, including their clothes and amusement items, while at some place, you will get to see the arms...

My first trip to Jaipur – The Pink City

Jaipur, proudly known as the Pink City, the state capital of Rajasthan, is among the most happening cities in India. The place is a fine melting pot of culture, traditions and metro-city lifestyle. The city has forts which are several hundred years old to big shopping malls like World Trade Park. The place is famous for its traditional heritage and modern lifestyle. There are two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Jantar Mantar and Amer Fort. Though, this was not my first trip to Jaipur. I have been there couple of times but only for some work. But this time, I decided to visit Jaipur to explore it. The year was ending and I wanted to make a trip so that I could close the chapter of 2017 with happy travelling memories. At the majestic, Hawa Mahal... My Jaipur trip lasted for four days of tra...
