A Day in the Elegance of Nature and Tranquil Moments in Naggar
It was my last day in Naggar and I had nothing much to do since I had already explored some of the famous places in Naggar. So I just took a walk to some random place somewhere in the woods. I had no idea where I was going. GPS failed to navigate and I was dependent on the terrain that I was following. I just kept on following the terrain. Soon I lefft the traffic noise of Naggar and found myself surrounded by thick deodar trees. There was no road; there were no homes, just birds chirruping and nothing else. It wasn’t anything new for me since I had been to such places earlier too. After walking for a while, I saw some people and asked them if I could walk across. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t invading someone’s private property.

It was Monsoon month and everything was green and colorful. Everything was soothing to eyes and soul. I came across a few homes. I wonder how peaceful it would be to live like this. Away from the chaos, surrounded by the elegance of nature. Spending my most tranquil moments in Naggar, I followed the terrain like I had no worries like I had no promises to fulfill, like I had no one who was waiting for me to return like it was me… just me… and the path ahead. After walking for a while, I took shelter under the shadow of a giant tree and relaxed for ten minutes, played some nice music on the Bluetooth speaker I was carrying in my bag.
I got up and followed the terrain more. This time, I had reached into the thick woods. And I played the song ‘Ye Kahan Aaa Gaye Hum’ which was a perfect song for the moment and the place. I must have walked for three or four hours and after reaching here, I realized that it was worth walking so long and having reached was the prize that I received. I was capturing those tranquil moments in Naggar in my mind, in my heart, and of course in my phone.
I played with butterflies. And yes, those were the largest butterflies I had seen in a while. I ran out of water and drank from a stream. I was sweating and I just lay down on the ground where I just closed my eyes and slept for a while. It was an open area. There were people with their cattle, relaxing, talking, and having a good time. The air was fresh and the smell of wood was so refreshing that I lost track of time. I could hear the chatter of people sitting at a distance and the bells of the cattle. I had imagined a picturesque moment like this. Just like a movie scene from the countryside.
Now I don’t remember the name of this place as the GPS wasn’t working there that much and I followed the terrain only that led me there. At first, I thought I entered someone’s personal property. There were apple trees. But I continued walking and asked someone if I was going wrong or right. After spending and relaxing for nearly an hour or so, I navigated my way to the nearest road since I had no idea where I was and there were no homes around.
